How to Check-in

I will be the net control station for the BARC Weekly Winlink Net.

  1. Begin composing a new message.
  2. Choose the BARC_Input template which should open the form in your default browser.
  3. Fill out the HTML form and click the submit button at the bottom of the form. Winlink Express users will need to close the browser window and return to Winlink Express to post the message to the outbox.
  4. Send the message via Winlink to W0WYV by Friday evenings at 7:30pm central time.

Stuff

Each week I’ll summarize the data and reply, via Winlink, to all stations that checked into the net. This is new and we’ll probably experience some bumps along the way. If you find something that doesn’t work or needs improvement, send me message and I’ll look into it.

FUTURE – I hope to capture each person’s check-in data in a spreadsheet and provide a page with sliced & diced reports. Not sure when that will happen…but it’s one of my goals with this little project.
